Track & Field Assistant Throws Coach

The supplement is based on 26-27 schedule.

The assistant Throws Coach is responsible in assisting the head throws coach with training and developing student-athletes in shot put, discus, and javelin. The coach promotes skill development, safety, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship while supporting the overall success of the track and field program.

Responsibilities.

• Teach proper throwing technique, drills, and event strategy.
• Supervise athletes during practices and competitions. 
• Promote athlete safety and proper equipment use.
• Provide feedback and support athlete development.
• Assist with meet preparation and event coaching.  

Qualifications

• Knowledge of track and field throwing events.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Coaching or competitive experience preferred.
