Daniel High School- Head Competition Cheer Coach

Daniel High School has an opening for a Head Varsity Competition Cheer Coach for the 2025-2026 school year.  Competition Cheer coaching experience is preferred, but not required. Teaching positions at all K-12 levels are to be determined.

Qualifications:

-Provide student-athletes with an overall positive experience that promotes success beyond high school.

-Prior competition and spirit cheer experience.

-Build positive culture with high level organizational skills.

-Communicates effectively with assistant coaches, parents, athletes, administrators, and community.

-Effective plan for developing student-athletes through athletics and academics.

-Ability to manage student-athletes to provide and promote an overall successful program within the school and community relationships.

-Provide structure to promote a safe environment. 

-Knowledgeable regarding correct movements, stunts, tumbles, routines, etc.  Ensure these competitive cheer movements are performed safely with proper instruction and coaching. 

The supplement is based on 25-26 schedule.
