Normal Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Schedule to be determined by need of school.
Job Responsibilities: The Department of Mental Health is a drug-free workplace. All candidates will be required to pass a mandatory Pre-employment drug test.
This position is located in an assigned Pickens County School and the Pickens Clinic, 337 W. Main Street, Easley, SC 29640, of the Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center, 200 McGee Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
Under direct supervision, performs case management and counseling services to children, adolescents and their families at a designated school setting.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Requirements: A bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs.
Agency Minimum Requirements: A master's degree in guidance, counseling or the social sciences. Must possess work related undergraduate counseling experience and ability to work independently.
Preferred: A master's degree in guidance, counseling or the social sciences and one (1) year of post master degree experience excluding internships.
