Kudzu Staffing is seeking applicants for Temporary Grounds Crew workers for the School District of Pickens County. 

Applicants must pass a TB skin test and SLED background check. The hours will be 5:30am until 2:00pm with some ten hour days in the summer.

Responsibilities:
1. Work safely and efficiently on district properties with safety of students and staff as the priority.
2. Plans, trims, and maintains grass, shrubbery and trees.
3. Grades, constructs sidewalks, installs fences, etc.
4. Sprays weed control chemicals and pesticides after appropriate training with attention given to safety of employees and students.
5. Transports equipment and furnishings throughout the district and maintains proper inventory of supplies and equipment to accomplish jobs and tasks.
6. Assists other trades in areas such as grounds equipment maintenance and installs plumbing and electrical lines as required.
7. Handles all work order items requested by the crew leader.
8. Remains available for emergency or unplanned events that may transpire during the course of a school year.
9. Promotes good public relations through professional and ethical execution of job responsibilities.
10. Participates in staff development programs.
11. Performs other duties as directed.
